The first and last to fall, demoted Liberals!

The first and last to fall, demoted Liberals!

First to fall…

The way things are going for the BJP and in the opposition, the game cannot be more one sided. If Politics in India was a Test cricket game and 2019 was a fresh start (2nd test) with BJP winning the toss, then here is how it looks:

1.      The pitch is very green with lots of moisture and overcast condition and BJP does not have many batsmen suitable for this sort of pitch and those batsmen apart from captain NaMo/Vice captain Amit Shah & Rajnath Singh no one has yet acquired the experience batting in a test. But they are all fast learning, talented and most of them are young, eager to learn types. They have also chosen to bat first.
2.      The score is astonishingly 180/0 within the first 30 overs. Even when the (Economy) ball is swinging and seaming like crazy. BJP is batting superbly and all opponents can do is dry up runs (slow GDP growth).
3.      The opponent team has already lost its captain soon as the game began to injury and the vice captain way past her prime and even more unfit, has cramps and can barely run, has been forced take over.
4.      The bowlers from the opponents are all spinners and the only medium pacer it has, is been carted all round the park.
5.      The BJP has spectacularly talented bunch of pace/swing/seam bowlers in their line up, who are yet to bowl. To make matters worse for the opponents they have the best all-rounders and spinners who are yet to come into play.
6.      To add to all this one-sidedness, the opponent INC team has no batsmen who can bat for long hours. Fielders are hilariously incompetent and outdated. Some of them (INC) are even game for fixing if it’s profitable.

The state election at the end of the year is the stumps on day one. If the BJP end up winning the three states, which looks very likely, then the equivalent test score on day one would look like 360/0 from 90 overs. Chances of winning the game will look very bleak for the INC from their on and there might be multiple records broken by the BJP.
Imagine where this will leave the INC and its fellow teammates. They have already comprehensively lost the first test in an innings defeat (2014 – 2019) and are likely heading for an even worse defeat in the second test (2019 – 2024).
If this is a three test match series for NaMo, then BJP under NaMo is likely heading for a series victory and possibly a whitewash. But the whitewash is much needed, which could also lead to a series win if the test series is even extended to 5 or 4 test match series (3 out of 5/4).
A whitewash is guaranteed with one thing only and that is Economy. Narendra Modi has to understand this and really tackle the India’s economy both from bottom up and top down.
Massive constructive and positive pro free market reforms accompanied by gigantic tax breaks and incentives towards private investment is need of the hour. Foreign money should flood India like there is no tomorrow.

Last to fall…

So INC is reaching a point of no return for another decade if this keeps up. As I used to write in my Disqus account (Unfortunately vanished), Sonia Gandhi or anyone from the Gandhi family is a very poor choice. Every single forecast of mine with regards to INC came true. Not once did I fail to grasp the larger picture in regards to Political context of India. I can proudly claim 13 of 13 of my forecast on INC came true and 10 of 13 forecasts on BJP came true, with 2 coming true but a bit late for my liking and 1 where I completely underestimated BJP.

The amount of suicidal actions engaged by the left liberals and INC in particular is truly insane. The perpetual cycle of self destruction and denial is taking a heavy toll on the Left liberal polity and it has reached beyond retrieve.
Let’s just say INC miraculously manage to hold on to whatever political strength and somehow put up a fight with every ounce of strength they have in addition to spending all their financial resources to defeat the Rightist/BJP, the best they (INC) could achieve is a solitary victory in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and West Bengal in a decreasing sense of certainty.
So in the foreseeable future, INC, Other Opposition like TMC, DMK and left has no chance of winning or retaining any state apart from the Tamil Nadu, Kerala and West Bengal. Punjab is becoming increasingly dicey as the INC is not really firing on all cylinders and SAD + BJP is slowly creeping up electorally. All this is because of the complete disconnect between INC leadership and state Government.
There are only 2 state governments under BJP/NDA that looks to be underperforming, namely Bihar and Karnataka. In both states the opposition is in complete disarray. Karnataka being my home state is heading for stall with no party or institution competent enough to develop the state or provide basic leadership.
Bihar is seeing its final run of JDU/Nitish Kumar politics. Nitish Kumar has entered his final match as a politician and JDU has entered its twilight years as political party. By 2024-25 BJP would not just be a favourite in Lok Sabha but also the big boss of Bihar Vidhana Sabha as well.
The recent imprisonment of Chidambaram and others would have sent shock waves not just within the opposition, but also the cagey allies of the BJP, no doubt. I do not think BJP will be challenged even internally from the NDA allies for the foreseeable future. Unless BJP does something monumentally stupid and gets itself tied in knots, BJP should have undeterred free run.

The question that always remain is of the economy…

I am not sure how BJP under NaMo would put INDIA towards a sustainable 8% GDP real growth with 4% inflation rate soon. We know the issues, needs and solutions, but will Narendra Modi take the call?
