Counter productive CAA protests!

We all know who, where and how the protests are happening. The question that is important is why is it happening?

1.      Mislead, misinformed and political will be the typical BJP response.

2.      Aggrieved, oppressed and communal is the Congress response.

Both are wrong and purposely lying.

The real answers are some simple truths!

Frustration and Desperation of three entities…

1. Muslims are frustrated and desperate because they have not only lost their electoral veto, but also have been rendered politically impotent by the string of BJP mega electoral Victories and mega political amendments to the very design of Muslim centric policies (370 to Ram Mandir to Triple Talaq to Citizenship Amendment).
2. Congress is frustrated and desperate because the disgusting ecosystem they had nurtured all these years, which gave them power even when not in government, is crumbling. Now they neither have a reliable ecosystem nor do they have possible near term access to power.
3. Left Liberals are frustrated and desperate because their exclusive domain of narrative setting is no longer present and to make matters worse their narrative is being ridiculed, mocked and junked by majority of the public young or old.

All this leads to a lot of stress, pressure and heat which needs a release valve. This CAA protests are just that.

1. BJP wants to consolidate Hindu votes, INC wants to Consolidate Muslim votes, Left Liberals want narrative setting power and Muslims want electoral veto and political dominance.
2. BJP has nothing to loose with this protest, since most of the protestors never did or never will vote for BJP.
3. INC consolidation of Muslim votes comes at a cost to other regional parties and counter consolidates Hindu votes to the BJP.
4. Left Liberals can never have exclusive narrative setting power in this day and age. It will be even difficult going into the future. The internet and social media has changed the game for good.
5. Muslims will have to contend by default to a minimum of 4.5 years of electoral and political irrelevance, till at least 2024. A week in politics is a long time, half a decade is a whole new era. All they will end up doing is to further ghettoize themselves from the mainstream majority Hindus, hurting not only themselves but also the INC and Left Liberal strength.
6. This all will have an impact on a monumental scale on the political and electoral future of India.

Wonder what the duo Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are upto? This is too much of a complicated approach that I can decipher.

 In all this commotion something does not smell right. The Congress party has been partially guarded in giving complete open support to the Anti CAA protests and are trying to somehow manage a balancing act. The BJP apart from the law and order angle is not overtly worried on the political front. Why?

Apart from the obvious electoral constituents of these protests, the reason behind this strange indifference by the BJP is just not very evident.

I would like to be underestimating a possibility of a grandiose plan by the BJP. Thus, would just go with basic vote consolidation explanation, even though I suspect something more has been factored into this.

Just hope and pray that BJP have many more electoral mega victories!
